It's really easy to make free calls with CallZero. Just enter your New Zealand landline in the top box and then your friends New Zealand landline in the bottom box and click the call button.

If you've never used CallZero before note the PIN number on the pop up box on your computer screen.

Answer your phone when it rings and enter your PIN if prompted.

Wait for your friend to answer.

Talk for up to one hour!

If you want to call destinations other than New Zealand landlines you'll need a CallZero account.

To get a CallZero account complete our short online sign up form. You'll need your credit card handy so that you can add some credit and make calls.

Once you receive your welcome email head over to the CallZero site and enter your username and password to access your account and start making low costs calls all over the world.

CZ Tip: If you click "remember me" we'll automatically log you in whenever you head back to CallZero.

Once you're logged in all you need to do is enter your landline, the phone number you want to call (including the international area code for overseas calls) and then click the call button.

For example if you're calling the UK you'd enter
0044xxxxxxxxxx

and if you're calling a NZ mobile you'd enter
02xxxxxxxx

The pop up on screen will confirm the destination cost and talk time you have available.

Recording Calls
All CallZero "on account" users get free call recordings so that you can listen to your conversations again and again.

If you want your call recorded just click the big red record button on the dial screen before you enter your numbers. Click it again to turn off recording.

To listen to your call again click the Call Records link and then open the calls for the correct day and download the MP3 file to your computer.

Topping Up
To add more credit to your account click the Top Up link, enter your credit card along with the amount you want to add and click the Top Up button.

Call Records
To check your call details and access call recordings click the Call Records link.

How long can I talk for?
Free calls are limited to a maximum duration of one hour. All other calls are limited by the cost and your CallZero account balance.

Can I use CallZero from my mobile.
Currently we only offer callbacks to a New Zealand landline. Our full service 2talk accounts allow you to connect any two numbers.

What's the catch?
From our perspective there isn't one. You get free calls between New Zealand landlines simply by entering two landline numbers. Our on account rates offer low cost calls to the rest of the world. We don't have any hidden costs - all you pay is our published per minute rates. All we ask is that you spread the word so that more people know about us.

How do you make money?
We're hoping that you'll love CallZero so much that you sign up for an account. That way you'll be able to make cheap calls to other destinations and we'll make enough cash to keep giving you free NZ calls!

Can businesses use it too?
They sure can. We do have some reasonable use clauses on the number of free calls though so if you're a call centre you might be better to check out the range of plans we have available at 2talk.co.nz
